Pennsylvania Continuing Education Requirements
Pennsylvania real estate licensees are required to complete 14 hours of continuing education by May 31 of every even-numbered year.
For the 2022-2024 renewal cycle (5/31/24 CE deadline), the requirement is that a minimum of 3 hours of the required 14 hours of continuing education must be taken on the topic of responsibilities of the broker and their licensees regarding property management, advertising, and general supervision. The coursework must be completed between Aug. 30, 2022 and May 31, 2024 in order to meet the requirement. All Empire Learning Second and Subsequent Renewal packages contain courses to meet the full requirements.
Salepersons renewing for the first time must complete 14-hours of Commission-developed modules in order to renew their license. Our Pennsylvania: 14-Hour Mandatory First Renewal Course will satisfy the full requirement. First-time renewals do not need to satisfy the responsibilities of the broker and their licensees regarding property management, advertising, and general supervision requirement.
