Beat the Burnout â Self-Care for the Busy Agent
Last week's featured article was a longer one, so we have a shorter article for you this week (though still helpful). After a whirlwind spring of both industry and geopolitical uncertainty, itâs no surprise that many agents feel like they're struggling to keep up. Always being âonâ for clients, especially during times of uncertainty or transition, can be energizing and exhausting. The good news? Youâre not alone, and there are ways to recharge before you hit the wall.

đ€ AI as Your New Assistant?
Have you tried letting ChatGPT draft a listing description or social post yet? Youâre not alone â nearly half of agents have experimented with AI tools like ChatGPT in the past year, according to NAR.
- Agents are using AI to brainstorm marketing ideas, write quick email responses, and even translate listings into catchy social media captions.
- The verdict so far? Itâs a promising time-saver, but it works best as a helper, not a replacement. Smart agents double-check AI-generated text for accuracy and add their personal touch so their unique voice still shines through.
- Thereâs a new, real-estate-specific AI tool we came acrossâDual AI, and itâs designed to make CMAs a whole lot easier. Trained on MLS data, it uses AI to help agents analyze comps, summarize market trends, and write clear, professional CMA reports in way less time. While weâre not affiliated with them, we think itâs a smart solution worth checking outâespecially if CMAs usually eat up your afternoon. Itâs still in early access, but you can hop on the waitlist by clicking the link above if youâre curious.
đș Curb Appeal in Bloom
With flowers blooming and trees leafing out, curb appeal is the hot topic this week. Little outdoor upgrades can mean big returns. A freshly mulched lawn, pops of colorful flowers, or a new coat of paint on the front door can make buyers swoon before they even step inside.
- Research shows strong curb appeal can account for up to 7% of a homeâs value, according to the Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics!
- Encourage sellers to spruce up the front yard and pressure-wash that walkway.
- First impressions are everything â and a home that says âwelcomeâ at first glance can sell faster and for a premium.
đ« Schoolâs Out, Buyers are Moving
Summer is heating up, and so is the market! As the school year wraps up, family buyers are gearing up. Memorial Day isnât just the start of summer â itâs the kickoff of moving season for many. According to NAR, households with school-aged kids often plan moves during summer break, meaning late May and June bring a surge of motivated buyers trying to settle in new homes before the next school year.
- Be ready for an uptick in activity.
- If you have listings with kid-friendly yards or extra bedrooms, nowâs the time to highlight those features.
- And if youâre working with sellers, remind them more buyers out shopping could mean multiple offers.
đŻ Quick CE Tip of the Week
â CE Should Come With Takeaways (And We Mean More Than Just Hours!) Continuing education should give you tools you can actually use in your business. The best CE experiences leave you with resources, not just credits. For example, at Empire Learning, we recently added the following to the CE experience:
- đŻ Custom-made, downloadable social media posts you can use right away on your own platforms (completely free!). They work for LinkedIn, Facebook, and/or Instagram and come with short, medium, and long captions.
- đ€ Software and tools through our partnerships with agent-focused companies.
- đ A curated list of extra articles if youâre ready to dive deeper into the topics.
- â Coming soon: PDF takeaways for elective courses to give your clients and keep your value top of mind. These will also come with an option for a customizable box at the bottom of each page, where each individual agent can easily add their headshot and contact info.
Next time you're looking at CE options, see if they're offering something extra out of every course.
đ Market Highlight
đ„ Did You Know? If youâve worked with a Gen Z buyer recently, youâve probably noticed they donât shop for homes quite like their parents did. This up-and-coming generation is eager to own homes, but theyâre taking a shrewd and patient approach in 2025. Rather than diving headfirst into bidding wars, Gen Z house hunters are doing their homework, watching their budgets, and moving at a more cautious pace. Itâs a noticeable shift: theyâre shopping smarter â and yes, slower â in the current market climate.
