All active Sales Agents, Associate Brokers, Principal Brokers, and Branch Brokers in Utah must renew their licenses every two years. Licenses expire on the last day of the license month as shown on the license.
What Are the Utah Real Estate Continuing Education (CE) Requirements?
For second and subsequent renewals, all active licensees must complete 18 hours of continuing education. This includes one 3-hour Mandatory Course (Residential, Commercial, or Property Management) and a minimum of 6 hours in Core topics. The remaining hours may be in elective or any other approved course topic.

When Is Utah Real Estate Continuing Education Due?
All CE must be completed by the 15th day of the renewal month to ensure on-time renewal. The license itself must be renewed by the last day of the renewal month.
