Utah Real Estate License Renewal Requirements

Utah Real Estate License Renewal Requirements

Licensees are required to complete 18 hours of certified Real Estate Continuing Education Courses every 2-year renewal cycle, including 9 hours of approved Core topic courses. As part of the 9 Core hours, licensees must complete a 3-hour Utah Mandatory Course.

Continuing education must be completed by the 15th of the month of renewal in order to ensure an on-time renewal.

New Sales Agent Requirements

All sales agents renewing for the first time are required to take the 12-Hour New Agent Course and a state-approved 3-hour core topic. The remaining 3 hours may consist of any core or elective topic.
