Tennessee Continuing Education Requirements
Tennessee real estate licensees are required to complete 16 hours of approved continuing education biennially by the license's date of issuance. The education must include the 6-hour TREC Core course designated by the commission.

Additional Information:
Per TREC regulations, courses over 8 hours in length are required to have a minimum exam pass score of 70%. Empire Learning's Tennessee full renewal packages do not contain courses over 8 hours. Additionally, a final exam is not required at all for the 6-hour TREC Core course.

After completing the continuing education requirements, Tennessee real estate licensees are required to complete their application for license renewal online at https://core.tn.gov. You must renew by midnight of your renewal due date to avoid lapsing and incurring a late fee.
