South Dakota Real Estate License Renewal Requirements
South Dakota real estate licensees are required to complete 24 hours of approved continuing education biennially by November 30th of their license's expiration year. The education must consist of at least 12 hours in any of the Required subject areas listed below.
Required subject areas include: Real Estate Contracts; Real Estate License Law; Fair housing; Ethics; Environmental Issues; Antitrust; The Americans with Disabilities Act; and Brokerage Services.
