All active and inactive Missouri real estate salespersonsand brokers must renew their licenses every two years. Broker and entity licenses expire on June 30 of even-numbered years, while salesperson licenses expire on September 30 of even-numbered years.
What Are the Missouri Real Estate Continuing Education (CE) Requirements?
All active and inactive salespersons and brokers must complete 12 hours of continuing education during each renewal cycle. This includes 3 hours in the Missouri Real Estate Commission (MREC) Core topic, which for the 2026 renewal cycle is Fair Housing. The remaining 9 hours may be completed in elective or other approved course topics.
