Indiana Real Estate License Renewal Requirements

Indiana Brokers are required to complete 12 hours of continuing education every year by June 30th, for a total of 36 hours every three years due for license renewal. Course completions can be in any IN PLA Commission-approved course.

Indiana Managing Brokers are required to complete 12 hours of continuing education every year by June 30th, for a total of 36 hours every three years. At least 4 hours every year must be completed in a mandatory course covering the necessary business and management skills and legal knowledge needed by a managing broker. Empire Learning currently offers the 8 hours of elective topic requirements.

New Broker Licensees - Post License Education: Newly licensed Brokers are required to complete a 30-hour post-license course within 2 years of your license issue date, which satisfies your CE requirements for the first two years. After the first two years, you are required to complete 12 hours of CE annually by June 30th. Empire Learning does not currently offer the 30-hour post-license course; however, Empire Learning does offer the 3rd year required 12-hour CE package.
