Illinois Real Estate License Renewal Requirements

Illinois real estate brokers are required to complete 12 hours of approved continuing education biennially by April 30th of even-numbered years. The education must consist of at least 6 hours in mandatory core courses.

Real estate managing brokers are required to complete 24 hours of approved continuing education biennially by April 30 of odd-numbered years. The education must consist of the same requirements for regular brokers, but must include an additional 12 hours in a broker management continuing education course.
