This is My First Renewal as a Salesperson. What Do I Need to Do?

Salespersons must take a GREC-approved 25-hour Salespersons Post License course during the first year of licensure. Failure to complete a Post License course during the first year of licensure will cause the license to lapse.  Once completed, this Post License course counts as 9 hours toward the 36-hour continuing education requirement for the first renewal. Empire Learning DOES offer the 25-hour Post License course as well as a corresponding 27-hour package for the remaining first renewal requirement.

How do I know Empire Learning is an Approved Provider in Georgia?

You can view our Georgia Real Estate Commission CE sponsor approval on the GREC website and click on "Approved Real Estate Schools."

How does Georgia Verify My CE Course Completions?

We report credits to the Georgia Real Estate Commission every business day. You can view your completed credits by logging in to your account on the GREC online portal.    Please note that the state may take 24-48 business days to post recently reported credits.

What are the Most Recent Updates to the CE Requirements in Georgia?

In March of 2025, GREC announced that as part of the 36 hours of CE required for Broker renewal, Brokers who renew on or after 7/1/25 are required to complete 18 hours of Broker CE topic courses. Empire Learning does not offer the Broker CE courses at this time.
