Who Needs to Renew Their Real Estate License in Delaware?

All active real estate licensees in Delaware must renew their license every two years by April 30th of even numbered years.

What are the Delaware Real Estate Continuing Education Requirements?

Delaware real estate licensees are required to complete 21 hours of continuing education during each two-year renewal cycle. These hours must consist of 7 different modules, 6 of which are Core, and are listed below. Each module must be at least 3 hours in length.

  • Module 1: Agency and Fair Housing
  • Module 2: Professional Standards
  • Module 3: Real Estate Documents
  • Module 4: Office Management
  • Module 5: Legislative Issues
  • Module 6: Practice of Real Estate
  • Module 7: Elective Courses

First-time licensees must complete a 12-hour post-licensing education program within the first year of licensure in place of standard CE requirements.
