Who Needs to Renew Their Arizona Real Estate License?
All active and inactive Arizona real estate salespersons, associate brokers, designated brokers, self-employed brokers, and delegated associate brokers must renew their license every two years before their license expiration date.
What Are the Arizona Real Estate Continuing Education (CE) Requirements?
Salespersons & Associate Brokers must complete 24 hours, including 3 hours each of: Commissioner Standards, Agency Law, Contract Law, Disclosure, Fair Housing, Real Estate Legal Issues, and 1 hour each of: Firewise, Deed Fraud, Water. The remaining 3 hours can be in elective or any course topic.
Designated Brokers, Self-Employed Brokers & Delegated Associate Brokers must complete 30 hours, including 3 hours each of: Broker Management Clinics 1, 2, and 3 (3A or 3B), Agency Law, Contract Law, Disclosure, Fair Housing, Real Estate Legal Issues, and 1 hour each of: Firewise, Deed Fraud, and Water. The remaining 3 hours can be in elective or any course topic.
- If your brokerage operates in property management, you must complete the BMC 3B.
- If your brokerage does not operate in property management, you must complete the BMC 3A. Check the course category to verify this.

All CE must be completed before your license expiration date, which occurs every two years.
