This includes 8 hours of mandatory core curriculum designated by the Alaska Real Estate Commission and 12 hours of elective courses. First-time license renewals also require completion of a 30-hour post-licensing education program in addition to the standard continuing education requirements.

Renewal Information

You can renew your license between November 1 and December 31 each year. Once you have completed your required CE:

  1. Log in to NMLS and make sure your record is up to date
  2. Receive a request to renew or reactivate your registration
  3. Log in to NMLS and attest to your registration’s renewal or reactivation
