Alaska Real Estate License Renewal Requirements

Alaska real estate licensees are required to complete 20 hours of approved continuing education biennially by January 31st of even-numbered years. The next CE deadline is January 31, 2018. The education must include at least 8 hour of Core consisting of a minimum of 2 hours of Situational Ethics, 2 hours of Contract Law, 2 hours of Consumer Protection, and 2 hours of Practical Licensee Relationship Disclosure.

Renewal Information

You can renew your license between November 1 and December 31 each year. Once you have completed your required CE:

  1. Log in to NMLS and make sure your record is up to date
  2. Receive a request to renew or reactivate your registration
  3. Log in to NMLS and attest to your registration’s renewal or reactivation
